Hi everybody.
Today I want to let you know about an important Italian initiative; this is mainly intended for italian users but even other persons can be interested about it, even just for knowledge.

I think it’s a very important issue to deal with, please read it!
Research activities in Italy are becoming harder and harder, due to the fact most of Italian companies are focusing advising activities: they bring money at once and are probably less difficult to manage.

But what will be the progress without research? Above all considering the particular field of application I work in, computer science, that as we know it is a dynamic one, probably the most one. And the number of competitors is constantly growing up. In addition, let’s consider that other countries are making more and more investments on research, so in short we’ll be otu of the market, and so obsolete that it will be difficult to fill the gap.

Nowadays, people is obsessed about selling something: you MUST sell something.
So the question is: there could be advising activities in the future without research ones? What will we sell in the future?

Then come and leave some words about it to my blog…
